Believe your insurance company denied or underpaid your fire or smoke damage claim? Our licensed Florida public adjusters can review your homeowners policy and assess your loss — at no cost to you.
Everything you need to know about working with a licensed Florida public adjuster on your fire claim.
A public adjuster is a licensed insurance professional who represents the policyholder — not the insurance company — in the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of a property insurance claim. In Florida, public adjusters are licensed and regulated by the Department of Financial Services under Chapter 626, Florida Statutes.
Our services are contingency-based — no recovery, no fee. Florida law (§626.854) caps public adjuster fees at 20% of the insurance claim payment for non-emergency claims, and 10% for claims filed within one year of a declared state of emergency. You pay nothing upfront and nothing if we don't recover funds for you.
We handle all fire-related residential and commercial losses in Florida — including structural fire damage, smoke and soot contamination, kitchen and electrical fires, lightning strikes, wildfire damage, water damage from fire suppression, contents loss, and Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims.
We serve all of Florida, including Fort Myers, Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, and the surrounding counties — Central, South, and Southwest Florida.
Yes. Many of our clients come to us after a denial or underpayment. We re-inspect your loss, review your homeowners policy, and prepare a supplemental or reopened claim where coverage exists. Under Florida Statute §627.70132, most property claims can be reopened or supplemented within the statutory time limits.
Under Florida Statute §627.70132 (as amended), policyholders generally have one year from the date of loss to file an initial property insurance claim, and 18 months to file a supplemental or reopened claim. Don't wait — contact a licensed public adjuster immediately after a fire loss.
